Antitrust Advisory wins unfair competition case for Procter & Gamble against LLC Stockist

06.08.2018

Antitrust Advisory has won an unfair competition case for Procter & Gamble against LLC Stockist, a Russian manufacturer of consumer goods. The FAS of Russia found that LLC Stockist’s business model was based on parasitic packaging and copycat design of product lines and brands of the Procter & Gamble family of products.

The project was unique in that this was the first case where the FAS of Russia was dealing with a business model based on copycat design of entire product lines of a competitor rather than individual instances of copying of the design of a specific product or SKU (combination of categories). The case was also notable for its long duration and complexity. The FAS of Russia has been considering the case for more than two years, ultimately rendering a decision against LLC Stockist and finding in favor of our client.
