Igor is a partner in Antitrust Advisory and focuses his practice on advising large Russian and multinational companies and financial institutions on competition/antitrust issues, distribution and sales agreements, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate structuring. With over 20 years of experience in the Russian market, Igor has been called by Chambers “a driving force” in competition law in Russia.




  • Advising PepsiCo Inc. on its $3.8bn acquisition of 66% of Wimm-Bill-Dann Foods OJSC, a leader in dairy products in Russia;
  • Advising several major international FMCG (food, alcoholic beverages and consumer products) clients on various competition law, commercial law and trade law issues related to their arrangements with distributors and retailers, including on issues of selective distribution and product differentiation;
  • Acting as a Russian law expert in high profile litigation in the High Court of London in a multibillion dispute between Russian businessmen relating to their joint investment into a large Russian industrial group, the world leader in its industry.
