A new partner joining Antitrust Advisory

Marina Gorokhova has joined Antitrust Advisory as a partner. Prior to that she served as the head of the Competition department of the Russian Ministry of economic development.


Marina has significant experience and expertise in the sphere of Russian competition law. Key projects, on which Marina worked in the past few years, include participating in the development of the most recent changes to the Russian competition legislation (i.e. the so-called second and third antimonopoly packages), as well as drafting and negotiating the Treaty on unified principles and rules of competition between Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan (as part of the Eurasian Economic Union).


Prior to joining the Ministry of economic development in 2008, Marina served as the head of the Electricity industry unit of the Russian Federal Antimonopoly Service.


Marina's expertise and her policy expertise will no doubt be helpful to the Russian and international clients. At Antitrust Advisory, Marina will in particular be developing economic consutancy on antitrust matters.
