Antitrust Advisory in conjunction with Association ‘NP ’UCSD’ developed and presented a white paper on combating counterfeiting on marketplaces at a meeting of the Expert Council of the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia.
The document is in addition to the previously adopted To good practitioners to combat the sale of counterfeit goods and includes an analysis of more than 20 successful cases with a detailed description of the actions of the complainant, the marketplace and the seller, as well as the result of such actions. The aim of the White Paper is to improve the efficiency of interaction between market participants when filing complaints on marketplace platforms.
Alexander Egorushkin, leader of the UCSD working group, partner of Antitrust Advisory also noted that the White Paper is an illustration of typical situations arising in the fight against counterfeit goods on marketplaces.
As part of the meeting, FAS Russia approved the White Paper and encouraged market participants to continue to supplement the document with new practices.
